Job Description
Seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for a first shift opportunity working full time, Monday through Friday; 7:00AM-3:30PM with overtime available if desired. This position is paying $30/HR+ depending on level of candidate's experience. Set up and Operate CNC milling and turning equipment Responsible for selecting proper tooling and making edits as needed to the machines for each new job Set up tooling for each production run, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance Determine condition of tools and point of re-sharpening Re-sharpen punches and dies as needed Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Keep work area clean and well organized Other duties as assigned by management Responsible for manually selecting tools for input to accurately develop product specifications during execution and continuously checking for numerical/dimensional adjustments and speeds for precise machine cutting (micrometers / precision dial gauges) product development Complete machine tool set up and fixtures for CNC Mills and Lathes Responsible for running first piece ready for inspection and changing tools and offsets based on cutting conditions
