Maintenance Technician Dallas, TX Onsite COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • $28.00/hour • Full-time, 8-hour flex shift between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM; on-call every other weekend • W2, Direct Hire ROLE IMPACT This role is responsible for maintaining the safe and efficient operation of electrical and mechanical systems within the facility. The Electrical Maintenance Technician will perform diagnostic evaluations, make necessary repairs, assist contractors, and ensure preventive maintenance is conducted to minimize downtime. KEY DUTIES • Perform diagnostic evaluations on electrical elements such as circuit boards, relays, switches, and motors • Replace faulty circuit boards, switches, relays, and motors • Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment, including overhead components • Remove and replace defective or inoperable parts • Maintain a safe and organized shop area • Recommend preventive maintenance to limit downtime • Supervise mechanical and HVAC contractors on site • Assist on-site contractors and perform miscellaneous electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs • Ensure proper operation of warehouse machinery and supervise or complete preventive maintenance • Fabricate and install shelves, brackets, stands, and buildings as needed MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • 5+ years of experience in an industrial or warehouse setting • Excellent communication skills • Ability to read blueprints and schematics • Able to work in tight spaces and at heights • Able to work in extreme temperatures • Ability to keep supply list and restock consumables EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT • Ability to weld and use shop equipment • Ability to fabricate parts needed for repair • Physical warehouse environment, including elevated work and temperature extremes • On-call every other weekend PREFERRED SKILLS • Fast and accurate equipment diagnostics • Welding and fabrication experience • Preventive maintenance mindset LEGAL NOTICE By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
