COMPANY: IOT-eq, LLC JOB TITLE: Senior Vice President of Technology WORKSITE ADDRESS: 8902 FM 2920 Rd., Suite 100, Spring, TX 77379 NUMBER OF HOURS/WEEK: 40 Hours per week JOB DUTIES: Identify potential jobs and customers, build a relationship with these customers, and close the bid work with them. Conceptualize, create, and refine the architecture of electronic devices. Develop, implement, and guide internal directives as part of leadership. Identify, evaluate, and maximize revenue from existing and emerging revenue streams and opportunities as part of leadership. Represent the company publicly and privately and engage with investors, stakeholders and clients. Develop and apply foundational best practices and standard testing procedures for embedded sensors and controllers designed for extreme environments and PCB manufacturing processes. Develop best practices and concepts like thermal considerations, impedance matching, Signal and Power integrity, and EMI/EMC mitigation techniques. Understand and apply industry and regulatory standards to new and existing products, and aid in the development and implementation of management and integration services to support products from concept to market. Manage multiple teams. Work with team leads to create best practices to identify, train, and retain individuals and teams. Evaluate existing processes and identify KPIs and optimization opportunities. Establish reporting methods and establish and maintain budgets for key activities. Implement and standardize modular circuit design rules and guidelines for different circuits such as Analog, Digital, RF and Power Supply and assist in the creation and maintenance of a digital library for same. Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts tailored for embedded systems to be reused for Quality Assurance/Quality Control at scale. Periodically evaluate the performance of developed products and projects in situ. Assist teams in-person and/or remotely with troubleshooting and optimization to the satisfaction of the company and its clients. 5% travel domestic or international to client sites. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field and 5 years of experience as Embedded Systems Engineer or in any occupation in which experience was gained. SPECIFIC SKILL SETS: Experience MUST include: 2 years of experience collaborating with interdisciplinary team members on best practices, implementation, and functional requirements during product and service development and deployment; in creating prototypes for new products and processes in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams; in designing algorithms for precise robot movement and stability (PID control, state-space methods); in analyzing circuits with sinusoidal inputs, including phasor analysis, impedance, and resonance; with Digital and/or Analog experience designing and implementing filters (e.g., low-pass, high-pass, band-pass) to remove noise, isolate specific frequencies, and shape the spectral content of signals; in creating configuration interfaces and diagnostic software for new products or processes; in implementing and refining optimized workflows in multiple domains to ensure secure, cost-effective solutions; and 1 year of experience in circuit analysis, testing, and validation using generally accepted techniques (Kirchhoff's Laws, Thevenin's Theorem, Norton's Theorem, and other fundamental circuit analysis techniques).
