Flexographic Press Operator and Folder - Maplewood, MO

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Flexographic Press Operator & Folder to set up, operate, and maintain flexographic printing presses and perform folding operations on printed materials. This role is critical in ensuring both the print quality and post-press finishing meet our high production standards.

• Set up and operate flexographic printing press (narrow or wide web)

• Mount printing plates, install cylinders, adjust ink, and align substrates

• Monitor print quality, register, and color consistency during production runs

• Operate folder machines to crease, fold, and finish printed products per specifications

• Inspect folded products for accuracy and defects

• Perform routine maintenance on both press and folding equipment

• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Follow production schedules, job tickets, and customer specifications

• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure job accuracy

• Document production logs and maintenance records

• High school diploma or GED required

• 2+ years of experience operating flexographic presses and folder equipment

• Strong understanding of ink systems, substrates, tension control, and folding mechanics

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and specifications

• Excellent attention to detail and color

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• $19+ per hour experience dependent
