Property Manager - Urgent Hire

Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a Site Manager (Property Manager). For six decades, our client has been offering safe, affordable housing and compassionate support for Philadelphia's seniors and special needs community. This position is directly responsible for the complete operation a subsidized independent-living residence for low-income seniors years of age or older. Developed in partnership with the HUD 202 Supportive Housing Program, this facility opened in 2001 and it has 55 units.

The Site Manager is responsible for setting the tone for the facility, including making decisions on matters of daily operations. The Site Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of prompt, effective and courteous service; ensuring the financial viability o f the facility; and implementing a preventative maintenance program.

QUALIFICATIONS :

A. Possess a valid driver's license.

B. Required to submit the results of a Criminal Background Check completed by the Pennsylvania State Police, or other such acceptable entity.

C. A professional designation of Assisted Housing Manager (AHM) or equivalent industry certification is required.

D. Competency in IPMS and HUD Control Software of equivalent industry software.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Services or a related field from an acceptable accredited college or university, or

B. High School Diploma or equivalent, with demonstrated knowledge of fair housing and/or assisted housing requirements; and

C. Four (4) years related experience in work relating to housing administration and management in a supervisory capacity. MUST HAVE HUD experience
