Press Brake Lead-CNC in Decatur, AL

Title: Press Brake Lead Location: Decatur, AL Duration : Temp to hire/Full time Pay rate : $25/hr. (Possibility can go up to $27/hr) Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: •Utilizes the Work Center Dispatch Report in due date order to coordinate workflow scheduling. Exceptions will be communicated by production control or operations manager. •Assists the Press Brake Operators with set-ups, questions and workload responsibilities. •Ensure that operators are adequately trained and equipped so that work can be performed in a safe, productive and cost-effective manner •Keep Operations Manager advised of work status, workload, problems and progress as related to work assignments. •Work with Engineering on first articles, new projects, etc. •Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers and use simple math to perform basic calculations. •Must be able to operate, install tooling and set-up mechanical or pneumatic press brakes. •Must be able to perform visual inspection and dimensional inspection using calipers and basic measuring tools. •Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions. •Update computer records and paperwork in accordance with production requirements. •Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on press brake as required. •Maintain work area in clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures. •Must have a working command of the English language, and be able to communicate orally and in writing.
