Job Description Summary: Position: IT Project Manager Location: 210 El Camino Real, South San Francisco, CA 94080Job Description: Responsibilities: Coordinate the delivery and implementation of new system solutions and related processes to support See's Candies business needs and requirements. Handle the internal resourcing, vendor resource engagement, overall project schedule, potentially some budgeting and invoicing, adherence to the selected project methodology, and key phases and milestones of a system project effort, including requirements gathering, design, development / configuration, testing, validation, and implementation. Provide functional support and maintenance and ensure appropriate vendor partner support for implemented system solutions. Provide assistance and guidance to the business systems analysts and oftentimes review and confirm the business analysts work and deliverables in project activities and system solution implementation efforts. Act as a mentor for business systems analysts. Act as subject matter expert and participate and contribute to strategy discussions for key solutions and processes. Serve as liaison between business resources and management, vendor partners, and internal technical resources and teams to facilitate solution delivery and longer-term strategy. Assist in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for new potential vendor solutions and help drive the evaluation and prioritization of new system enhancements and vendor package and in-house system solutions. Lead and ensure adherence to system security best practices and controls in solution delivery, system support, and everyday work operations. Follow and promote safety best practices, protocols, and procedures in the work environment. Educ./experience: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration or related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Project Manager, Business Systems Analyst or in a related position. Experience must include project management; plan, execute, monitor, and close IT projects; select, negotiate, and oversee the performance of external vendors and consultants; analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve IT issues.
