Colliflower Inc., a leading Parker Hannifin distributor of hoses and fittings has an immediate opening for a Store Manager Trainee . The hours of this position are 7:30am-5:00pm, Monday- Friday . Regional travel is required and reliable transportation is needed. Colliflower has been in business since 1951 and has an excellent reputation for giving exceptional customer service and selling high quality hose conveyance products. Colliflower fabricates and sells a wide variety of fluid connector products including: hydraulic & pneumatic hoses, metric, tube, & brass fittings, quick couplings, adapters and accessories. Colliflower has 48 stores on the east coast with plans to expand. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone to learn the fluid connector business, operations of a Colliflower store and have great opportunity for future advancement. The trainee will learn how to perform all the operational functions of a Colliflower store including management, customer service, fabrication of hose assemblies, inventory, projecting and budgeting, sales and more. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has great customer service and communication skills, likes to work with their hands and in a service environment, has good problems solving skills, a positive attitude, and is looking to advance into a Store Manager position or beyond. About the Role: The Manager Trainee in our Lumberyard will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring that our retail environment runs smoothly and efficiently. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to develop their management skills while contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere. The Manager Trainee will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, managing inventory, and supporting staff in their roles. Position will assist in all other areas of the retail store to include plumbing, paint, outdoor living, lumber and building materials, appliances, flooring and kitchens. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in retail or customer service. Basic understanding of inventory management. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree in business management or related field. Experience in a supervisory role within a retail environment. Familiarity with lumber and building materials. Responsibilities: Assist in managing daily operations of the lumberyard, including staff supervision and scheduling. Ensure that inventory levels are maintained and that products are displayed effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Train and mentor new employees, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Monitor sales performance and assist in implementing strategies to achieve sales targets. Hours: The store is open Monday through Saturday. Every other Saturday is required. No Sundays! Monday - Friday 7am to 6pm Saturday 8am to 4pm Wage: Wage range is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience.
