Summary Objective Electrical Field Service Lead serves as the senior field electrician responsible for overseeing the electrical installation, startup, and commissioning of Stellar Energy's Modular Central Utility Plants (MCUPs) at customer sites. This position helps direct and support a team of two Field Technicians and acts as the primary electrical authority on-site, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and in accordance with engineering specifications, codes, and quality standards. The role requires a combination of expert electrical knowledge, hands-on field execution, leadership, and digital fluency with control systems, sensors, and related smart infrastructure. Essential Functions Lead the contractor in all electrical installation activities for MCUPs at customer locations, serving as the senior site electrician. Coordinate and supervise the work of two Field Technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Interpret and execute electrical plans, single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, mechanical P&IDs, structural drawings, interconnection details, and control drawings provided by Engineering. Manage startup and commissioning of electrical systems, including verification of power distribution, control wiring, instrumentation, and smart components. Configure and troubleshoot control panels, PLCs, VFDs, and digital monitoring systems during commissioning. Conduct site-level QA/QC inspections and pre-functional tests to validate readiness for system energization. Interface with internal Engineering, Project Management, and Controls teams to resolve technical issues in the field. Maintain detailed field documentation, including redlines, daily work reports, punch lists, and commissioning logs. Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E), safety regulations, and Stellar Energy policies.
