Project Administrator - Marine Construction
As Coastal Engineering continues to expand its presence along the East Coast, we're seeking a highly organized Project Administrator to support our growing pipeline of complex marine construction projects.

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Project Managers and field teams across multiple marine construction projects (ports, seawalls, bridges, subsea pipelines, etc.).
- Maintain and track project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and daily logs.
- Assist in preparing project reports, meeting agendas, minutes, and correspondence with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Support procurement by issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining vendor records.
- Help ensure compliance with safety documentation, permits, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain project filing systems, both electronic and physical, to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in project administration, construction administration, or office coordination (marine or heavy civil construction experience strongly preferred).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for client, vendor, and internal team interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting USACE, NAVFAC, or DOT marine contracts.
- Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications.
- Degree or coursework in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field (preferred but not required).
Compensation details: 28-36 Hourly Wage
