Job Responsibilities
Plumber Lead
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the plumbing team.
- Inspect work sites to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to plumbing team members.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other contractors.
- Plan and schedule plumbing tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain inventory of necessary tools and materials.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of work progress.
Plumber
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in multi-family residential buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine plumbing requirements.
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs to ensure system functionality.
- Identify and resolve plumbing issues efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on job sites.
- Collaborate with the plumbing lead and other team members to complete projects.
Plumber in Training
- Assist experienced plumbers in installing and maintaining plumbing systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Develop skills in using plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Support the plumbing team in troubleshooting and resolving plumbing
Laborer
-Transport and handle plumbing materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Perform basic tasks such as cutting, measuring, and threading pipes.
- Ensure job site cleanliness and organization, removing debris and hazardous materials.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in maintaining inventory by tracking and organizing plumbing supplies and tools.
- Participate in training and development sessions to improve plumbing skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and needs.
Job Requirements
Plumber Lead Requirements
- Valid and current plumber's license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-family plumbing installations and maintenance.
- Proven leadership experience managing a team of plumbers.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Plumber Requirements
- Valid and current plumber's license or certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in plumbing, preferably in multi-family settings.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, installation, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments.
- Valid driver's license.
Plumber in Training Requirements
- Enrollment in or completion of a recognized plumbing apprenticeship program.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and tools.
- Willingness to learn from experienced plumbers and follow instructions.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license.
Laborer Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some experience in construction or plumbing preferred.
