Pharmacy Technician Irving, TX Hybrid (Onsite during training, remote eligibility after) COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • $19.00 per hour • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (8-hour shift, 30-minute lunch) • Full-time, W2 • Start date dependent on background/drug screen completion ROLE IMPACT: This role supports licensed pharmacists by performing technical, nonjudgmental tasks essential to prescription processing, medication preparation, and pharmacy operations. Success in this role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in prescription fulfillment, directly impacting patient safety and satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Accurately enter and process new prescriptions and refills in accordance with regulations and company policy • Perform eligibility verification, third-party claims adjudication, and dosage calculations • Verify patient and prescriber information, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and applicable laws • Assist with maintaining software system accuracy and program guideline adherence • Handle cross-functional support tasks including prescriber communications and shipment-related inquiries REQUIRED LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS • Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license, valid for at least 90 days from start date (REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE) REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILL SET • Prescription data entry and processing • Refill request handling and documentation • Dosage calculation (metric/apothecary conversions) • Third-party insurance claim processing • HIPAA-compliant record handling PREFERRED SKILLS • At least 6 months of prior pharmacy experience • Strong multitasking, attention to detail, and urgency in work execution • Ability to work onsite during training (minimum 30 days) and maintain reliable transportation LEGAL NOTICE By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
