- Other Details: An Interventional Cardiologist is needed to provide 24-hour hospital call coverage starting October or November 2025. The schedule is flexible, but the provider must be available for at least two weeks per month, with some months requiring shifts. This is an inpatient-only role with an average of 3 consults and 2 procedures per day in a Level II trauma setting, supported by APPs during the day. The hospital includes 18 ICU beds, 18 telemetry beds, and 10 CMU beds. Required procedures include balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs, and IFR; TEE experience is highly preferred. STEMI activations average 3 per week. Applicants must be board certified in Interventional Cardiology, have an active ID license or IMLC with LOQ at the time of name clear, and be fully COVID-vaccinated. Clean malpractice and background, as well as local availability without flight needs, are highly preferred.
