Cardiovascular Surgery Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $3104.00 - $3360.00
This facility is seeking a Cardiovascular Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
- Schedule: 5:00 pm 6:00 am; two weekends per month with some sporadic weekday call coverage
- Practice Setting: Hospital based; 100% adult population
- Types of Cases: General cardiovascular/thoracic surgery (open), coronary artery bypass surgery (on-pump and off-pump), congenital defects (ASD, VSD, PFO), valvular repair and replacement, aneurysm repair (cardiac and aorto-thoracic), ECMO cannulation and patient stabilization for transport to academic center in Denver
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
- EMR: Epic
- Certifications Required: Board Certified in Cardiovascular Surgery (ABMS/AOA); Active Colorado license or active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC); Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA); must be COVID-19 vaccinated and able to perform all required procedures; clean background with no malpractice
- Licensure Required: Active CO or IMLC accepted
