Position Description:

The Service Technician is responsible for the companies' professional image and reputation as well as providing the highest level of efficient customer service to our customers. Technicians are required to perform service repairs and replacements for our customers on an as needed basis 24/7. Technicians are required to be entered into the on-call rotation. They are expected to follow all company guidelines, make quality repairs in a timely manner, take care of all company property, and present themselves in a professional manner at all times.

1. Provides preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
2. Troubleshoots units that are not working and replaces parts that are defective.
3. Diagnose and repair complex HVAC system issues, including large rooftop units, commercial systems, and advanced control systems.
4. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies to identify and resolve intricate issues with HVAC systems.
5. Knowledge of OSHA Safety Regulations
6. Installs refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, pneumatic control, and humidity control systems.
7. Understanding and troubleshooting knowledge of the following:
8. Rooftop Units
9. Air Handling Units
10. Wet Systems
11. Cooling Towers
12. VAV Boxes
13. Variable Frequency Drives
14. Build strong customer relationships and build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations.

Position Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or certification in HVAC or a related field is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in HVAC service and repair, with a demonstrated ability to handle advanced technical tasks.
3. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including large commercial units and complex control systems.
4. Proficiency in advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
