Process Technician

Job Title: Process Technician Location: Seabrook, NH Work schedule: Mon- Fri 8am- 5pm Type: Contract Overview Leading consumer good company looking for an experienced Process Technician. Ideal candidates should have a bachelors degree 3+ years experience or an Associates degree with 5+ years of experience in the Rubber, Plastics Compounding or Coatings industry. Requirements Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in a Chemistry related or Material Science field from a four-year college or university with 3 years or more related experience in the Rubber, Plastics Compounding or Coatings Industry; or Associate's Degree (A.A.) in Chemistry related or Material Science field with five or more years related experience and / or extensive training in the Rubber, Plastics Compounding or Coatings Industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Responsibilities Complete raw material evaluations for replacements and quality improvements. Complete laboratory batches and coordinate and participate in testing as needed for approval at automotive OEM customers. Specific material improvement projects as assigned. Design and complete controlled experiments as needed. Participate in pilot and plant scale runs of products under development. Assist other departments as needed. Other duties as assigned.
