Job Description Summary: POSITION OBJECTIVE: This position is the face of See's and is responsible for greeting customers, responding to questions, improving customer engagement with merchandise and providing excellent customer service. Shares opening and closing responsibility with Leadership to ensure the location is in-line with approved operational hours.Job Description: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assists the shop team to achieve seasonal goals with a focus on increasing shop sales. 2. Follows See's standard for excellent customer service by greeting customers as they enter the shops, offering and describing the sample, introducing product and/or promotions to the customer and offering an additional item to build the sale. 3. Assists the shop team in maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the selling floor by complying with all Visual Merchandising guidelines. 4. Maintains a basic understanding of product knowledge. Monitors pull dates to ensure product management guidelines are followed. 5. Responsible for accurately ringing all transactions and ensuring all procedures related to cash handling, protection of See's assets and banking are followed at all times. Ability to assist the Leadership team with inventory control. 6. Complies with all communication and implementation of Company direction, policies and programs, including POS inventory compliance, in a positive manner. 7. Follows See's Loss Prevention Policies and communicates with Team Leader, Assistant Team Leader, and/or Area Coordinator regarding deviations from policies and/or procedures. Promotes open, positive communication. 10. Follows assigned work schedule. Maintains regular and punctual attendance. 11. Maintains integrity of individual timekeeping procedures. 12. Assists Leadership team with the implementation of Safety Program guidelines. Perform daily exercises and reviews company provided safety topic. Helps identify safety hazards. Complies with Emergency Action Plan and hold-up procedures. Adheres to all Company Safety Program guidelines. 14. Assists with general housekeeping, cleaning, sweeping, mopping and sanitation. 15. Assists with checking in and putting away the product deliveries. 16. Follows procedures for accurate and thorough opening and closing duties. 17. Effectively communicates in a professional and positive manner. 18. Other projects as assigned. 19. All See's staff must be committed to the company's core principles and workplace values, including diversity and inclusion. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Physical ability to carry out the essential functions of the job, including: stocking shelves, ringing sales, standing or walking the entire shift and lifting up to 25 pounds frequently. 2. One Year experience in a Key Holder role with See's Candies. 3. The ability to adhere to company standards for dress code. 4. Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively, and in a positive manner. 5. Retail experience preferred. 6. Excellent customer service and cash handling skills. 7. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Thepayratefor this position is$16.87per hour.
