Analyze information on adverse underwriting decisions, rate appeals, underwriting requirements, status, and declinations to aid in strategy planning and development. Manage assigned portfolio to achieve premium, profitability, rate & retention, and new business goals. Develop producer relationships to build a strong pipeline and distribution channel; develop distributor strategies, monitor performance, and adjust plans to ensure profitable growth. Requirements: 6+ years underwriting excess and surplus risks with expert knowledge and ability to develop underwriting strategies, and proven success building & managing new business opportunities. Demonstrable experience reviewing and analyzing customer operations, catastrophic potential, financials, loss-history, credit history, etc. to determine coverage limits, terms, and pricing.
