Position: Superintendent 2nd Shift

Position Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt, Hourly
Reports To: Production Manager/Plant Manager
Location: Jacksonville, FL

What You Will Be Doing

A Superintendent will have part of schedule creation, direction and monitoring of multiple crews and Welder Combo's, while under the direction of Plant Manager, for the timely, safe, and cost-effective completions of manufactured chiller units.

What We're Looking For

Must Have's:

  • 5+ Years' experience in Structural/Mechanical Welding
  • Experience leading a team or overseeing groups of employees.
  • I ntermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting, gas arc cutting
  • Ability to perform accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA

Nice to Have:

  • 5+ Years' Superintendent Experience.
  • Experience in a production manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Welding SMAW, FCAW and GTAW, or a combination thereof
  • Some vocational technical training

What Hours You Will Work

This is a full-time position. First shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 3:00PM -1:30AM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Work Conditions

This position operates out of a fabrication facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
