Surgery - Vascular Physician Assistant

We are in search of a Locum Vascular Surgery APP for coverage in the Suffolk, Virginia area 3 days/week ongoing through 2025.

The ideal Provider will be local to the area or within a reasonable commute, Board Certified (ANCC, AANP NCCPA) and have an active VA license in-hand.

ProTouch offers competitive compensation, all travel expenses & malpractice with tail coverage.

Location: Suffolk, Virginia

Job Type: Locum / Contract

Duration of Assignment: Ongoing through 2025.

Shifts: M-F; 8:30am-4:30pm w/ 2-3 nights of call per week

Practice Details:

• Reason for Coverage: need coverage for busy clinic
• Practice Setting: office based only, no hospital coverage
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: 18-20
• Documentation System/EMR: Epic
• APP will be working autonomously.
• There will be a supervising Physician present during the assignment.
• Patient Age Demographic: adult and geriatric
• Number of Operating Rooms: 2 CVT / 6 main OR
• Required Duties: Pre-Op Physical Exams, Suture Removal, Diagnose Illnesses, Treat Illnesses, Order Tests, Interpret Tests, Write Prescriptions, Coordination of Care

Requirements:

• Board Certified (ANCC, AANP NCCPA)
• Active VA License
• BLS/ACLS
• MUST BE AVAILABLE 3 DAYS/WEEK
• CLEAN BACKGROUND - no exceptions
• NO NEW GRADS - no exceptions
