Unit has received multipleCenter of Excellence Awards Responsibilities : Therole of the Charge Nurse is to supervise patient care administered by RN s,PCT, PCA s, Tech s, and Secretary. TheCharge Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for thecare of the patient, and in support of the mission of Menorah Medical Center. The Charge Nurse provides care fornewborn/pediatric patients between 2 weeks to 11 years of age; adolescentpatients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult patients between 18 to 64 years;and geriatric patients 65 years and older. Qualifications What Qualifications You Will Need: Graduatefrom an accredited school of nursing with either an ADN or BSN degree. Musthold a current RN license from the Kansas Board of Nursing or an active compactlicense. American Heart Association BLS required upon hire. 1-2years of previous charge experience preferred. Prior experience in a similarsize facility with similar services provided is preferred.
