As an Active Part Assembler, you will be responsible for performing the assembly of the active part of the transformer and the necessary connections. This position is designed for someone with a growth mindset and a commitment to safety and quality compliance. You will receive specialized training in Large Power Transformer Manufacturing as well as cross-train in new processes as you progress in your job role. You will gain unique and valuable skills that will set you apart in the world of Large Power Transformers.
This position is based at our upcoming Siemens Energy Transformers Manufacturing Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The facility is scheduled to be operational in 2026. Initially, your journey will involve supporting the factory's construction, helping implement new processes, building a high-performance team, and coordinating all aspects of the setup to ensure a smooth transition into full-scale production.
How You'll Make an ImpactSuccessful applicants must pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests, and be able to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and/or written instructions in English.
Must be willing to relocate temporarily to Mexico, Brazil or Germany for on-the-job training for a period of 3 months based on the proficiency in the area of training. Appropriate relocation support and compensation will be provided.
