Understand the heating cycle to include identify components in the heating system, understand how each component works, diagnose problems in the heating system using a gas pressure test and other devices for routine maintenance and to troubleshoot and repair. Understand the refrigeration cycles to include identifying components in advanced refrigeration circuits, understanding how each component works, diagnosing and correcting problems in the refrigeration circuit, using manifold gauge set, pressure/temperature chart and temperature measuring devices for routine maintenance and to troubleshoot. Knowledge of power density and parity with HVAC system capacities, and cooling and heat load/loss calculations. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum 6+ years of experience with electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment. Applicants must have a 3+ years of experience in a data center environment Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, to include U.S. Citizenship; Applicants selected must have an Active Secret Clearance or be able to obtain before assignment. Applicants identified as Mechanical shall have experience with centrifugal chillers greater than 300 tons, boilers, or significant other mechanical experiences Mechanical applicants must possess an EPA Certification Electrical applicants must hold a current Journeyman License Applicants identified as Electrical shall have experience with switchgear, generators, UPS or significant other electrical experiences D esired / Advantageous Qualifications: Possess a Journeyman Electrician License, Journeyman HVAC license or equivalent.
