JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a PreMatch Technician in our manufacturing department to fill an opening immediately in Pittsfield, MA. The qualified PreMatch Technician will have the following skills and abilities: Demonstrates a good attitude toward work and arrives on time for start of shift Follows instructions and demonstrates strong attention to detail Communicates well with others Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift 40 or more pounds Ability to obtain forklift certification Ability to see color for color matching purposes Mechanical aptitude Basic computer skills Completion of vocational training in machine shop preferred Previous work experience in same or similar field preferred A qualified PreMatch Technician will be able to perform the following tasks to include but not limited to: Maintain Production by matching ink for production orders Produce mid-run ink additions Maintain Quality Standards by verifying weight and contents of inks Conduct in-process batch color matching Document all process events Approves batch for printing operation Input ink mix formulations into color computer Provide all necessary information to replacement shift ABOUT US: Interprint, Inc. is a designer and printer of decor paper used as the design layer in laminate surfaces such as countertops, flooring, furniture, store fixtures and a host of other applications. Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks. Maintain a service van and its inventory. Process paperwork after completion of each job. Minimum Qualifications Less than 2 years related experience High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks. Preferred Qualifications Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics. Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills. Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred. Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment. Industry related training is preferred Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through Work Authorization: Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
