Fielding Engineer - Command and Control Systems (GCCS-J) $80,000-$125,000 Multiple CONUS/OCONUS Travel Opportunities Active Secret Clearance Required (TS/SCI Preferred) Support Joint Command and Control missions across the globe-deploy your skills to field, troubleshoot, and enhance one of DoD's most critical warfighter systems. A Day in the Life - What You'll Do • Provide direct technical support and education to military users of the Global Command and Control System - Joint (GCCS-J)
• Execute hands-on fielding activities such as system installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and user training across a variety of environments
• Lead system demonstrations and technical presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Interface with development teams and DoD stakeholders to track, escalate, and resolve field issues and support product deployment lifecycle
• Load, configure, and support complex, multi-application systems in operational and test environments
• Support integration and validation of new GCCS-J capabilities into emerging or existing Joint Command and Control (C2) infrastructures
• Operate in virtualized and hybrid environments, contributing to agile fielding and deployment approaches Required Qualifications • U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance • CompTIA Security+ certification (DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant) • Familiarity with Command and Control (C2) systems, especially GCCS-J operational baselines • 3+ years of experience supporting or fielding DoD systems in operational or test environments • Demonstrated experience with: DNS, server/client troubleshooting, Active Directory, and middle-tier integrations Installing and configuring Linux and Windows OS Operating within virtualized infrastructures (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) Supporting or contributing to software documentation, configuration records, or system admin guides Performing unit testing, software validation, and understanding of test plan development • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative, geographically distributed team • Ability and willingness to travel in support of system deployment and user site support, both CONUS and OCONUS Preferred Qualifications • Experience using Ansible to automate system configuration and deployment • Understanding of DoD/military environments, site protocols, and classified operations • Background in military intelligence, strategic planning, or imagery-based decision support systems • Current or eligible Top Secret / SCI clearance • Prior experience supporting Joint Operations Planning and Execution Systems (JOPES), Situational Awareness, or Infrastructure & Intelligence baselines If this sounds like you, we'd love to talk.
