Your Role: As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions that drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement SCADA, PLC, and control system solutions for various industries. Develop HMI applications and program PLC-based controllers for automation and data collection. Configure and deploy RF and cellular communication networks for SCADA and RTU systems. Create and maintain software databases, control circuits, and system designs that meet automation requirements. Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure system reliability. Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop effective automation solutions. Provide technical support and assist in training new engineers and technicians. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company protocols in all automation projects. What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or 5+ years of relevant experience. Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex automation projects. 8+ years of experience with PLCs, Direct Digital Controllers, or Distributed Control Systems. Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley, Modicon PLCs, and commercial SCADA/HMI software. Certification or experience with Ignition or VTScada software is required. Strong understanding of IT networking, servers, and control system integration. Proficiency in CAD software for designing automation systems. Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills. Additional Requirements: Valid Driver's License (Class C) - Some travel may be required based on project needs.
