Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Effective working knowledge of Healthcare Informatics, Power-point, Excel, and Microsoft Word is required. • Minimum of 5 years of acute critical care experience. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: • A Bachelor's degree in nursing or must obtain BSN within 2 years. Failure to obtain by 12/31/22 will be deemed no longer meeting the minimal requirements for the position and will result in separation from the position. • MSN in Nursing Education • Leadership experience LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED: • Current Florida Nursing License • BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire GENERAL SUMMARY: Plans, develops, implements/provides, and evaluates health related education for Emergency Services (Adult and Pediatric). Coordinates on-boarding as well on-going and annual training related to for Emergency Services. Role models and facilitates evidence-based practice to meet the educational needs of associates; creates, coordinates and conducts educational offerings to meet these needs. Formulates educational strategies that contribute to or support the direct provision of quality patient care. Ensures compliance with Local, State, and Federal educational requirements, while maintaining valid and complete educational records.
