Job Summary: Under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist or board certified Psychiatrist, provides mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment and crisis intervention services for adult and/or child members who present themselves for psychiatric evaluation with a broad range of mental health needs. Prepares intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries and maintains ongoing confidential records. Charts members treatment and progress in accord with state and NCQA regulations and in keeping with accepted community standards. Collaborates with physicians in screening and evaluating patients for psychotropic medications, within the scope of practice. Utilizes resources of public and private agencies and community organizations to meet the needs of the members treatment. May develop, implements, and evaluates behavioral medicine and health psychology programs in a variety of settings, including primary care. Provides consultation to other care providers and health educators on matters relating to mental health, health psychology and behavioral medicine. Provides clinical supervision to psychology doctoral interns, psychology postdoctoral residents, and other mental health trainees/fellows as necessary. Confers and consults with supervisor regarding members progress and treatment and may consult with psychiatrist as well, if both are involved in members care. May provide appropriate support to members family, including explanation of treatment, instructions in how to support treatment and interventions to increase acceptance of and adherence to treatment, at members request. Utilizes resources of public and private agencies and community organizations to meet the needs of the members treatment to include referral of the member and/or members family to external resources, as appropriate. Basic Qualifications: Experience Completion of a psychology doctoral internship - minimum of 1 year (1500 hours). Education PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical, Counseling, Health or School Psychology from an accredited college or university. At St. Luke s, our dedicated team of Advanced Practice Providers and Neonatologists strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient and family experiences. The Neonatology team provides coverage in Boise, Meridian, Nampa and Twin Falls, The selected individual will be working with a team of 12 BC Neonatologists and 22 APPs: This employed-provider practice covers the largest and most comprehensive NICU in the state, as well as three other facilities in southwestern Idaho. The Boise NICU (61 beds) is Level 4 (minus cardiac surgery and ECMO) with a comprehensive team of pediatric subspecialists available. Seeking Family Medicine Physician Assistants to talented teams in 2 locations - one 30 minutes west of Boston and the other 1 hour west. M-F 8-5 No weekend, second, or third shifts. Full-time physicians are scheduled for eight clinical sessions and two administrative sessions each week. Day is split into 2 clinical sessions with morning 8-12 and afternoon 1-5. Each session you will see 10-11 patients so 20-22 patients per day. 32 hours of clinical a week (8 clinicals and 8 hours of administrative time). Administrative time can be done remotely or at home. If efficient you can do a 4 day work week on site. If needed, you will have a slow ramp up period see 1 patient every hour when first start and slowly increases after 6 months fully ramped up. EMR: NexGen Patient panels: Call Duties : Either 2 week-day call shifts a month, or one weekend call shift a month. Call is done remotely, via telehealth. HPSA Score of 15 - Providers who commit to working for us for 2 years will be awarded $50,000 of loan repayment. Our clinical teams are comprised of family physicians, internists, pediatricians and advanced practitioners working in tandem with dentistry, optometry, pharmacy and behavioral health - all under one roof. We also have medical interpreters on site and utilize telephonic interpreters as needed.
