We have a great relationship with our medical staff office; they are very efficient and helpful during the privileging process. We have multiple committees that our providers can lead or join. Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible physician assistant. Hospitalist experience preferred; Hospitalist training required Practice in the Hearth of the Community Flexible Scheduling: Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation. Shifts for the day position are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; Night schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Most of us like to spend time with our families or outdoors, so a flexible schedule is available, and we cover for each other when we're out. We all have a common goal and help each other by switching shifts if someone needs a day off on their scheduled work week. Key Responsibilities: As a Day clinician, your responsibility will encompass rounding on approximately fourteen patients per shift and discharging when appropriate, while our night clinician will perform 3 admissions in addition to cross coverage. The hospital has a closed ICU with intensivists on hand 24/7. So, procedures or codes are not required. We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts. We use EPIC EMR and have access to our internal informatics platform.
