Job Description: Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A LOWBOY DRIVER to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading heavy equipment safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of route navigation, vehicle operation, and adherence to safety regulations. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the equipment. Job Functions: Work and operate tractor and trailer safely and adhere to DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations and policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and lowboy trailers every day. Operate various types of heavy equipment including excavators, graders, dozers, off-rd. trucks, etc. Safely load, secure, and unload equipment as required, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, managers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Navigate routes effectively to ensure timely delivery to specific job sites. Maintain accurate digital paperwork for timesheets and vehicle DVIR's. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations no matter what roads you are traveling on. Maintain a professional and respectful attitude at all times. Requirements: Valid Class A CDL, clean record, up-to-date medical card, and entered in the FMCSA Clearinghouse-drug and alcohol program. Must be accepted by our insurance company. Minimum 3 yrs experience with lowboy trailers and with heavy equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills for effective communications with job site personnel and team members.
