Division members are active in the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI), the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI), and the Clinical Immunology Society (CIS). They serve on committees and present talks and abstracts. Our teaching hospital offers our faculty excellent teaching opportunities and participation in a variety of conferences. The division also provides specialized electives for Pediatric and Internal Medicine residents as well as medical students interested in learning more about A/I. The division also features a long established, ACGME accredited Allergy and Immunology fellowship training program. The Allergy and Immunology fellowship program at Saint Louis University is a single, fully integrated, Pediatric-Internal Medicine program that provides comprehensive training in the entire spectrum of allergic and immunologic disorders in children and adults, with an emphasis on the provision of evidence based clinical medicine. Entrance into the program requires board eligibility in either Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or both. Experience is provided in clinical, translational, an/or basic science research.
