ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking four locum Emergency Medicine physicians to deliver comprehensive care in a busy emergency department serving patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. The facility is a Level 2 trauma and regional cardiac center, requiring providers comfortable with high-acuity cases and a broad range of emergency procedures. Physicians work collaboratively in a team-based environment to manage diverse and complex patient needs. Dates & Schedule Start Date: May 1 Duration: 12 months Shifts per Month: 30 Average Hours: 130 hours/month Shift Types & Times: Days: 6a 3p, 8a 6p, 10a 10p Evenings: 2p 12a Nights: 6p 4a, 10p 6a Job Details & Responsibilities Provide emergency medical care in an ED setting (approx. 1.8 patients/hour) Treat a wide spectrum of conditions including trauma and cardiac cases Perform procedures such as: Reductions, cardioversions, and moderate sedation Laceration repair, chest tubes, intubations, central lines Management of traumatic injuries and EKG interpretation Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team and assist colleagues on complex cases Utilize EPIC/Dragon for documentation Work with robust specialty support (e.g., surgery, cardiology, neurology, OB/GYN, etc.) and trained nursing staff Required Skills & Qualifications Licensure: Active Arkansas (AR) license Board Certification: BC or BE in Emergency Medicine Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, DEA Experience: Strong procedural competency in emergency medicine Malpractice History: Clean record required Documentation: NPDB self-query report (dated within 30 days of submission)
