Verification & Validation (V&V): Expertise in executing subsystem and system-level test plans, using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) to identify and resolve critical hardware defects. Compliance & Reliability Engineering: Experience designing for MIL-STD-461 (EMI/EMC) and adhering to IPC standards to ensure hardware survivability in high-reliability environments. Diagnostic Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with Boundary Scan tools (JTAG) for testing high-density PCBAs where physical probe access is limited. Systems Thinking: The ability to visualize cross-disciplinary impacts, such as how digital design choices affect thermal management or software latency. In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $90,500 - $168,500 This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
