The driver qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last 3 years. The person in this role is responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, diagnosing and providing quality repairs of electrical generator systems and related engine mechanical failures. Manufacturers included Caterpillar, Multiquip, Kohler, Cummins, Generac, Olympian, etc. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Perform basic preventive maintenance and assists others in performing intermediate and advanced corrective maintenance tasks 2. Uses basic knowledge of engine / generator mechanical and electrical operation to perform tasks or assist others 3. Replaces batteries, belts and hoses; changes and/or tops off oil and filters 4. Properly and completely fills out all service reports, PM checklists and timecards within department guidelines; Ensures they are legible and accurate with sufficient detail for service accounting needs 5. Works on a flexible work schedule 24x7x365 and responds to emergency calls as needed 6.
