We are looking for an Electrical Field Technician. The Electrician will install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures and systems in buildings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Install and repair electrical wiring on 3 phase motor control circuits.? Install conduit, fittings & enclosures to house electrical wires and components. Ensure all electrical components and craftsmanship adhere to NEC and all other applicable codes, regulations, and standards.? Install and / or replace circuit breakers, contactors, relays and other electrical components and associated wiring.? Connect electrical systems to existing power distribution panels & disconnects. Test & troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation. Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Ability to read blueprints. Extensive knowledge of 3 phase motor control systems, electrical systems and wiring. To Include - magnetic relay, Eddy Current, Wound Rotor, Variable Speed Frequency drive, Static Stepless control systems.? Ability to use hand and power tools. Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electricians license required. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring. Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding. Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
