Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.40 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or designated personnel as needed.Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.Monitor access points and help to enforce authorized entry procedures by verifying credentials, observing incoming and outgoing activity, and reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior.Support site operations by preparing reports, maintaining post records, and assisting with security-related checks of doors, gates, and/or restricted areas in accordance with site requirements.
