Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for construction projects, utilizing your expertise in AutoCAD and Revit. Ensure all designs and projects adhere to local building codes. Manage MEP projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes. Utilize your HVAC Engineering skills to design efficient and effective heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Contribute to the development of sustainable construction projects, demonstrating a commitment to environmental responsibility. Supervise and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Actively participate in project meetings and reviews, providing expert advice and guidance where necessary. Continually monitor the latest industry trends and technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. Qualifications: BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering required 8 + years of HVAC engineering experience Good working knowledge of IMC, IECC and Chicago Building Codes Ability to perform Energy Modeling using TRACE, eQUEST or other programs a plus Good understanding of ASHRAE Standards, especially 55, 90.1 & 62.1 Experience in projects with sustainable solutions and LEED certifications a plus PE. license required Strong REVIT MEP skills a plus; AutoCAD skills required Strong communicator with the ability to interact with a variety of clients Interested in hearing more?
