Summary: The Catheterization Laboratory Technician II is an experienced member of the cath lab team, proficient in supporting a wide range of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This role involves meticulous preparation of the lab, equipment, and supplies, ensuring accurate patient documentation, and maintaining a stringent sterile technique throughout procedures. The Technician II also serves as a valuable resource and preceptor for junior technicians and technologists, sharing expertise in advanced procedures and technology while upholding the highest standards of patient safety and departmental efficiency.
