Assistant Site Superintendent As an Assistant Construction Superintendent, you will assist in the oversight of all aspects of on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will be responsible for coordinating between subcontractors and reporting to the Site Super and Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities Responsibilities: As a construction assistant site superintendent, your role is pivotal in ensuring that construction projects run smoothly and efficiently. Here are six key tasks you may undertake: Site Supervision: Assist the Site Superintendent in overseeing daily operations on the construction site. This includes monitoring the work of subcontractors and laborers to ensure that tasks are completed according to specifications, on schedule, and within safety regulations. Safety Management: Help enforce safety protocols and guidelines on site. This includes ensuring that all necessary materials are available when needed, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with suppliers to prevent delays. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field (preferred). Proven experience as a construction superintendent or similar role in the construction industry. In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams. Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent, two (2) years of experience in institutional, restaurant, or related food service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
