Looking for a manufacturing job with shorter workweeks in the Twin Cities? Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Bloomington, MN. We are seeking candidates for Manufacturing Specialist positions on a variety of shifts:
- A Shift: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM, M - W, and every other TH $20.00/hr
- B Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, M - W, and every other TH $22.00/hr
- C Shift: 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM, F - SUN, and every other TH $22.50/hr
- D Shift: 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, F - SUN, and every other TH $23.00/hr
These positions offer the opportunity for overtime on other shifts and career growth potential. Compensation for these temp-to-hire opportunities is $20.00-$23.00 per hour, depending on shift.
What you'll do as a Manufacturing Specialist:
- Perform manufacturing operations to fabricate top-quality wafers for magnetic recording heads
- Operate assigned equipment to process or measure wafers
- Ensure procedures are followed and executed correctly
- Participate in on-going training to learn new equipment and operations
- Communicate and collaborate with team members to ensure production flows smoothly
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
- Follow on site COVID protocols to ensure your health and the health of all employees
What you need to be a Manufacturing Specialist:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Ability to stand/walk around for 10+ hours
- Must be comfortable with wearing a cleanroom suit, facemask and gloves
- Must have basic computer and email skills
- Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team
- Willingness to participate in a criminal background check
