A globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA is looking for a Technical Editor to join their dynamic team. Job Responsibilities: • Operate and maintain color measurement instruments, including spectrophotometers and gloss meters. • Conduct instrumental measurements and follow established procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy. • Collaborate with engineers and scientists to compare numerical color data with visual assessments, aiding in interpretation and decision-making. • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient lab workspace. • Ensure regular instrument calibration and upkeep. • Track inventory and assist with procurement of lab supplies and equipment. • Systematically store and manage measurement data using internal databases, templates or software tools. • Generate technical reports and data summaries based on measured results. • Troubleshoot data anomalies and support efforts to improve measurement processes. Key Qualifications: • Basic experience operating industrial or scientific instrumentation (color metrology experience preferred but not required). • Strong organizational skills with attention to lab workflows and cleanliness. • Proficient in data entry, analysis, and report creation using standard office tools. • Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with scientists and engineers. • Demonstrated ability to follow protocols and meet tight timelines with precision.
