Job Description:Automotive Mechanic Salary: $49,669.00 - $59,302.37 annually The City of Cincinnati's Fleet Services is seeking to fill the position of Automotive Mechanic . This employee performs journey level work by troubleshooting & repairing automobiles, trucks, construction equipment, specialized equipment such as fire pumpers, & non-automotive equipment. The employee will perform other related duties as required. Employee must also be comfortable using computers and diagnostic equipment. Qualifications: Each applicant must have three years of paid experience in automotive repair work. ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications are desirable. Must have a valid Ohio Class A Commercial Driver's license OR obtain one during the probationary period. Must be willing to work shifts other than normal business hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. May be required to lift heavy amounts of weight in excess of 50 pounds.
