This is a full-time seasonal opportunity, compensated at $25.00 - $30.00/hr. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Adhering to all safety and sanitation procedures and taking the initiative to be familiar with them Follow all guidelines regarding opening and closing procedures Must attend all training session/orientations Duties may include prepping cold and hot items Washing duties Any other task supervisor/manager deems necessary EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma, or equivalent, required Experience: 2+ years' experience in a high-volume food and beverage environment QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS Must be able to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment Exceptional communication skills Knowledge of Vermont Health codes Must be organized PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS This position may require you to work evenings, weekends and holidays. This position requires a lot of time on the snow and moving around the mountain. Applicants should possess and be able to maintain a high level of physical fitness and mental endurance throughout all winter conditions. This position is a full time position, offered from mid November through mid April. Scheduling availability must include weekends and holidays. The responsibility of a winter snowmaker is to safely and efficiently operate snowmaking equipment. You will be part of the snowmaking team that has one goal. That goal is to provide the best possible snow conditions day in and day out. Snowmaking is a huge expense that comes with a huge payoff, and we are looking for team players that take great pride in a job well done. The snowmaking team strives to provide a perfect product every single day. Prior equipment or snowmobile experience is a plus. Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions. This is a physically demanding job and requires applicants to be physically and mentally fit in order to excel. We make snow whenever temperatures allow, with many shifts occurring overnight. Positions available for entry level up through experienced supervisors. Most of our open positions have start dates around November 1, with a couple of openings starting ASAP. The responsibility of a winter snowmaker is to safely and efficiently operate snowmaking equipment. You will be part of the snowmaking team that has one goal. That goal is to provide the best possible snow conditions day in and day out. Snowmaking is a huge expense that comes with a huge payoff, and we are looking for team players that take great pride in a job well done. The snowmaking team strives to provide a perfect product every single day. Prior equipment or snowmobile experience is a plus. Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions.
