Develop strategies and plans to improve performance, engagement, efficiency and effectiveness by facilitating the continuous alignment of business strategies and clinical operations. Collaborates with key stakeholders for appropriate outcomes, weighing strategic fit, execution capabilities, and cost considerations. Assist the VP and stakeholders with Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) initiatives, managing transaction due diligence for the operational integration of the acquired entity. Collaborates with VP and stakeholders with M&A client integration, oversees engagement with potential targets and provides clients with resources and/or guidance. Collaborates with Finance teams around revenue models and financial risk analysis. Gains a thorough knowledge of the service area and develops a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics including market demographics, competition, and for-profit threats. Defines requirements and scope for the special projects based on hospital needs. Identifies strategies to improve budget performance, manages and monitors portfolio. As the Project Manager on projects requiring budgets, manages and monitors the performance of the budget. Monitors, tracks and analyzes programmatic dashboards. Identifies core performance metrics and coordinates with the Center of Analytic Excellence to develop dashboards and score cards. Identifies opportunities to expand services, increase volume, and develop new and existing markets and programs to expand local presence. Research best practices and develops plans for implementation and makes recommendations to leadership based on research findings. Manages, interprets and utilizes available data sources supporting departmental projects. Stays abreast of strategies and trends by accessing industry publications and communications and occasionally attending conferences. JOB SUMMARY: Maintains kitchen and equipment in a sanitary manner acceptable to all regulatory agencies concerned with the operation of the dietetic services department. Assists store room clerk with food and supplies. The Director of Infection Control directs and implements a coordinated Infection Prevention and Control program across 4 hospitals within the LifeBridge Health system. Responsibilities: Ensures compliance with applicable governmental, regulatory and accreditation standards. Prioritizes, coordinates and delegates ongoing surveillance of hospital patients to identify epidemiological infections through established criteria. Coordinates needed epidemic investigations according to publish health, CMS, TJC and CDC standards. Under the direction of the Director of Risk Management and Patient Safety, the Risk Management Consultant leads risk identification and mitigation activities related to safety events through collaboration with patient safety officer, quality coordinators, clinicians, administrators, and leadership that address opportunities for improvement in delivery of high quality care, mitigate risk exposure, and enhance patient safety at Grace Medical Center, Sinai Hospital and other facilities in the LifeBridge Health system. Essential Functions: HIGH RELIABILITY AND ERM Establish consistent processes that support a proactive approach to risk reduction, patient safety, and high reliability in care delivery.Utilize the domains of Enterprise Risk Management when conducting risk assessments that include evaluation of clinical risk, human capital (staff and scope of practice), operational risks (patient complaints and staff and patient safety), hazard risk (infection prevention), technology risk (EHR issues), financial risk (reimbursement requirements), legal/regulatory risk (compliance), and strategic risk (crisis/emergency response).
