Responsibilities Preparation of ASTM-compliant Phase I / II ESAs Site Investigations Drilling/excavating contractor oversight, soil/groundwater/soil vapor sample collection Soil logging/geologic formation Soil sampling at various NYC agency sites Use of field equipment (PID meters, Horibas/water pumps etc.) Oversight of GW monitoring well installations Construction activities oversight including excavations, monitoring well installations, UST investigations/closures, etc. CAMP implementation and work zone monitoring Field activity report writing Assist project PMs with preparation of various summary reports and documents 8 hour shift Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field 1-2 years' experience (entry level candidates will also be considered) Must have a valid Driver's license and car (needed for field work) Self-starter with strong analytical and writing skills Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions, reliable, detail oriented and a team player.
