Position Overview The Sr. Machine Learning Engineer, with minimal guidance from more experienced engineers, works independently and in collaboration with others on multiple projects which are complex in scope. Contribute to the development of an AI strategy at Exact Sciences that empowers the team to leverage both existing AI and ML tools and those developed in-house to accelerate and enhance bioinformatics, biostatistics and data science processes and outcomes. Contribute to internal initiatives to build training resources, develop knowledge bases, and educate on advanced AI and ML technologies and best practices for leveraging them. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with advanced AI concepts, such as artificial neural networks, deep learning, and reinforcement learning. Demonstrated knowledge and experience using artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques within one or more of the following fields: natural language processing, image processing and computer vision, image and pattern recognition. Position Overview The Maintenance Technician II, BAS Controls is responsible for installing, servicing, repairing, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on all Exact Sciences' Building Automation System (BAS) control systems. This position is responsible for a wide range of equipment from large-scale commercial-grade HVAC systems to multi-zone systems that incorporate direct digital control (DDC), pneumatic, electronic, and/or programmable logic controls. This position is responsible for installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems and control programming and linkage to the BAS. Essential Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist in commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, end to end testing, troubleshooting and servicing on assigned projects. Document point to point verification, sequence of operations validation and job close out requirements. Represent the company by serving as the direct customer contact and is responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer's location. Coordinate with team leader and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work. Keep current on industry products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems. Continually enforce safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions. Install, maintain, operate, and repair of all Exact Sciences' BAS control systems, including preventive maintenance. Work with engineering or scientific personnel to discuss plans, modifications, and user needs. Review available plans, specifications, or mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings. Perform system and subsystem diagnostics, schedule and maintain complex electronic environmental systems, and calibrate unique components and controls that are used to provide and monitor precise environmental conditions within Exact Sciences facilities. Provide expertise and technical assistance for a 24-hour operational environment with limited documentation resources. Respond to service calls and preventive maintenance inspections. Track the performance of routine and preventative maintenance to ensure availability of HVAC systems. Participate in improvement activities that improve the process, work, and make recommendations for enhancing the systems and procedures. Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions. React to loss of critical utility outages, as well as assist in restoration efforts following weather-related events. Provide technical support and expertise for automated equipment, building infrastructure, systems, and controls to maintain efficient and reliable operation, including the completion of accurate and up to date good manufacturing practice (GMP) documentation. Analyze, diagnose, and repair equipment documenting work as required by the quality management system (QMS). Monitor, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems and equipment or coordinate the services of contractors and/or the landlord. Conduct building inspections to assess the current operational condition, document findings, and take appropriate follow up action. Position Overview The Maintenance Technician will perform general repairs and preventive maintenance. Supported systems and equipment will be facility related mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, refrigeration, control systems, and equipment located within office, R&D, GMP and Clinical locations. The Maintenance Technician will provide support to ongoing process and procedure improvement and may also assist in a backup capacity to the Senior Maintenance Technician in a variety of ways including, but not limited to, repairs and maintenance and assisting with projects and on-call coverage. Essential Duties Include but are not limited to the following: Communicate facility and safety related issues that arise from daily operations to the Facilities Management to coordinate with internal customers, property owner and/or outside vendors. Execute preventive maintenance and demand maintenance tasks with proper documentation and closure. Minimum Qualifications Associates degree in electrical or mechanical maintenance-related field; or high school diploma or general education degree and 2 years of experience in lieu of Associates degree. 4+ years of experience working in a building maintenance, construction, or mechanical repair setting. 4+ years of experience operating hand tools, small power tools, multi-meters and various test equipment. Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, compressed air, and other related facility systems. Ability to read, interpret and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, procedure manuals and blueprints. Basic computer skills to include Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing. Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel macros and pivot tables and Word mail merge. Possession of a valid driver's license; no suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid, etc. allowed. No more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 months. No alcohol or drug event in which a vehicle was driven by the candidate or employee, including but not limited to Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) failure, refusal to submit to alcohol or drug test, alcohol related suspension, etc. in the last 36 months. No other results from the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check that exposes Exact Sciences to what Exact Sciences deems to be an unacceptable level of liability. Salary Range: $58,000.00 - $92,000.00 The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.
