Overview This precision machine shop is located in Champaign, IL , and are hoping to add skilled Prototype Machinists to their growing team. For the past 35 years, they have made a commitment to producing high quality, affordable products for a wide variety of industries including aerospace and medical. Their 30,000sqft facility currently holds 40 employees as well as 25 CNC mills/lathes. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with complex products with low production runs (average run is 10 parts!). You will be apart of the growing 5-axis department while also expanding you knowledge by improving cycle times and amplifying your CAM programming skills! This is a first shift position with flexible start times (most work either 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM) with half days on Friday (shift ends at 11 AM for everyone).
