Position: CRNA Location: Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, Houston, TX Schedule: Shall provide maximum flexibility to the VA scheduling authority. MEDVAMC provides nurse anesthesia services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Scheduling requirements are according to the needs of the department. Job Description Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op) Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards Work four (4) 10-hour shifts per week No on-call duties required (strictly scheduled shifts) Operate within a hospital-based setting designated as a Level II Trauma Center Contribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases Work alongside a team in multiple operating rooms, with rotating assignments based on need Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed

Saint Alphonsus is seeking a locum NP to add to their pool to provide coverage starting as soon as credentialed. Provider must be able to work in 4-5 day stints at a minimum. Job Description: Coverage starts as soon as credentialed due to inadequate staffing. Practice setting is a surgical center. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. 3 month contract with option to extend Documentation system used is Cerner. CRNA will work under a supervision model. Surgical cases per day range from 7 to 20, depending on case types. Pain management cases range from 0 to 10 per day. OR staff typically includes a surgeon, CRNA, supervising MDA, RN, scrub tech, and sometimes a first assist or resident. The facility has 3 operating rooms at one site and 5 at another. Patient demographics include pediatric to geriatric patients, excluding neonates. Required procedures include general surgical cases for adult and pediatric patients.
