Position Overview We're seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing firm. This is a hybrid role, three days in one of our offices and two days remote, built around trust and accountability rather than micromanagement. Because a significant portion of compensation is performance based, this role suits an attorney who is self directed, reliable, and produces results without needing close oversight. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and civil protection orders Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions as required (Northeast Ohio courts) Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court Collaborate with paralegal staff to keep cases moving efficiently Maintain accurate time and billing records Requirements Licensed to practice law in Ohio, in good standing Family law experience strongly preferred; will consider strong candidates with related litigation experience Reliable transportation and availability for in person court appearances, no exceptions on court days Strong personal accountability. This role requires someone who manages their own time and workload responsibly, especially on remote days Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and handle sensitive client matters with discretion and professionalism Schedule 3 days per week in office (Medina area location) 2 days per week remote Court appearances required as scheduled, regardless of remote/in office day
