Family Medicine Faculty with Obstetrics Location: Chambersburg, PA - Driving Distance from Baltimore and Washington, D.C., halfway between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. WellSpan Health is seeking Core Faculty members for our FM residency program in Lebanon, PA - 30 minutes from Lancaster and 90 minutes from Philadelphia. Our program is dually accredited by ACGME for allopathic and osteopathic education. We serve the urban and rural communities of Lebanon County with two outpatient clinics and a community hospital - WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. Requests appropriate diagnostic and screening procedures, interpreting the results. Writes prescriptions for required medication and/or treatment to meet management plan as allowed by State Regulations and protocols. Coordinates continued care for individual patients and provides follow up evaluation of patients' response to management plans. Provides emergency care as indicated and supported by protocols, training and experience. Acts as a resource, educator and consultant to staff. Develops and evaluates standards of care and protocols as necessary. Provides patient and family education, support and follow up as needed. Monitors and ensures accuracy of recording on patient medical records.
